The Childcare Coalition of Dodge City hosted a successful Childcare Provider Appreciation Dinner on Friday, May 8, in recognition of National Childcare Provider Appreciation Day, bringing together childcare professionals, community partners, and local supporters to celebrate the important role providers play in Ford County.

Community leaders, partners, and residents gathered on April 10 to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Full Circle Childcare Center, a transformational project aimed at expanding childcare access and supporting the local workforce in Dodge City. The new facility represents years of planning and collaboration focused on addressing the community’s growing childcare needs. Conversations surrounding childcare challenges began in 2019, bringing together stakeholders to identify solutions and build a path forward. The groundbreaking marks a significant milestone in that ongoing effort.

In celebration of Child Care Provider Appreciation Day, over 40 licensed providers gathered for a special evening of recognition on Friday, May 9, during Dodge City's first-ever Child Care Provider Appreciation Event. Hosted by the Childcare Coalition of Dodge City (CCDC) and the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation, supported by generous sponsors and local businesses, the event highlighted child care providers' essential role in the community.
